Meaty Mushroom Marinade
The secret to a delicious meat replacement is all in the marinade. Marinades are easy, you add a bunch of tasty spices, maybe some oil and vinegar and end up with a totally different result when cooked. Why use a marinade? We think mushrooms are delicious but the flavor can be elevated and the texture gets better as well. If you have a little extra time until cooking we seriously recommend you give this super simple three step marinade a try.

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. combine all ingredients execpt for mushrooms in a seal able container or zip lock bag.
  2. Add mushrooms to the mixture, seal and shake to fully coat mushrooms.
  3. Let mushrooms marinade for an hour up to 24 hours.
  4. You can choose to bake or pan fry at this point. We recommend a few minutes on each side in a pan on medium heat or 15 – 20 minutes in the oven at 400°F.
  5. Top with avocado and roasted nuts and enjoy!
