Ultimate Vegan Breakfast Sandwich
The goal of the Ultimate Vegan Breakfast Sandwich was to fill the giant hole in vegan breakfast options. In a meal dominated by bacon and eggs, we knew we had to wiggle in some vegan versions! Because let’s face it, the vegan breakfast option is ALWAYS toast and fruit. Which is fine, but definitely doesn’t fulfill any cravings the way a hearty vegan breakfast sandwich does!
This is an amazing recipe to showcase our favorite Vegan Hollandaise. Since hollandaise is such a full flavor creamy sauce, it really brings out the best in every bite. Smokey tofu adds a deep ‘meat’ flavor that is usually pretty lack luster in a traditional tofu egg. It is almost reminiscent of a classic bacon flavor, but with none of the cholesterol and suffering.
We really wanted this recipe to highlight a lot of our personal faves in the vegan/gluten free world. From the Sausages to the English Muffins , even the Vegan Cheese Shreds have all significantly improved our breakfast game!
