Cauliflower Wings – Gluten Free & Vegan!
Tasty finger foods are something that we always look forward to eating, especially cauliflower wings! If you’ve never made cauliflower wings before, or aren’t confident with your breading skills yet, don’t panic! We have laid out a complete step by step guide to get you familiar with your vegan breading station.
These wings are seriously addicting! You will be so obsessed with chowing down on a huge plate of these saucy wings! Perfect for the big game or your Bachelorette finale party. We can personally tell you they will be a huge hit at both. Making the wings a little smaller gives them crispier cauliflower to breading ratio, but the big ones are amazing for dipping. So load up on that vegan ranch!
Our personal favorite way to devour these tasty wings is with some Franks Buffalo Sauce! Make sure if using a store bought sauce, that the ingredients are completely animal free. Most companies, like Franks, have either a disclaimer or a FAQ section on their website to address any dietary concerns. Companies sometimes use some insane wording on the label, Franks for example, use “natural butter flavoring” but the company states it is not animal derived, in case anyone was unsure!
Your batter should be a little less thick than a pancake batter, we encourage adding your own favorite spices in to the mix! If you’re unsure about saucing your wings you can skip this step and save the sauce for dipping. A shorter cooking time might be required, make sure your bread crumbs do not burn.
